I’m Jenny - your dancer Dietitian!

My love for nutrition was sparked after 17 years as a competitive dancer and learning to sustain the unmatched physical demands of this sport. When I was dancing, I didn’t know how to properly fuel for performance and when I retired, I was worried about losing my dancer body.  This experience inspired me to become a Dietitian, and help fellow dancers navigate this journey.

As a Registered Dietitian with both clinical and private practice experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse client population to help them develop personalized and sustainable nutrition plans. More than your average Dietitian, I’ve also worked in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, which has provided unique insight into the frameworks that I build for clients to ensure plans are both sustainable and results-driven.

As a converted west-coaster from Toronto, Ontario, I like to take full advantage of mountain hikes, waterfront runs and trying out new restaurants in Vancouver.  Although dance remains my greatest passion, I’m always on the lookout for new and rewarding physical experiences, from sprinting my heart out at a Barry’s Bootcamp class, paddle boarding locally and abroad to strength training.

I understand the challenges you face in fueling your body for performance and being in a culture that can have unrealistic body image expectations. Let’s work together to disrupt the status quo and take your nutrition and dance journey to the next level!
